Lief Gezien: a warm website for birth announcements and christening favours

Céline designs birth announcements, christening favours and engraved keepsakes in wood. She works from Stekene for families all over Flanders and just across the border towards Hulst and Terneuzen. Her designs are soft, personal and finished down to the last detail, and the website had to convey that too.

We went for a warm, calm design. On the homepage you read straight away what Lief Gezien does and who Céline is.

Behind that soft look is a clear structure. Birth announcements, christening favour design and engraving each got a page of their own. That way each service can appear high in Google on its own, and anyone looking for a birth announcement lands straight on the right page. A blog adds extra articles about birth stationery.

What we worked on included:

1. a page of its own for each service

2. clear navigation with the range in the menu

3. copy that explains the range clearly

4. a style that suits Céline’s printed work

The result: a website that suits the brand, with a page of its own for every service that can be found in Google.
