VZW Dieren in Nood: one website for the animal shelter and the green care project

VZW Dieren in Nood, VZW Dino for short, takes in dogs and cats in Ophoven and finds them a new home. Through Dino’s Groene Zorg, people with a disability can help out at the shelter. We built one website with two sections, each with its own brand identity.

Two sections, two colours: the animal shelter got a dark blue theme, the green care section a fresh green colour scheme. On the homepage you choose straight away where you want to go.

Two logos: a logo with a cat and a dog for the shelter, and a logo with two helping hands for the green care section.

Every animal on the site automatically: we linked the Ter adoptie (for adoption) page to adopteereendier.be. Every animal the shelter posts there appears on its own website by itself. The shelter never has to enter anything twice.

Adoption clearly explained: in the FAQ you read how an adoption works, from your first email to meeting the animal.

The green care tasks: a separate page explains what the participants do. In the morning they look after the animals, in the afternoon they maintain the enclosures.
